Allyson Gutwein named new Executive Director of Boone CVB

The Boone County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has named Allyson Gutwein as its new Executive Director, effective April 17th.

“With over two decades of experience in small business development, retention, growth, and attraction, Allyson brings a wealth of expertise to this position.” Said Boone CVB Board President, Nathan Messer, “She has both the experience and enthusiasm to spearhead the CVB’s efforts to grow tourism in Boone County with effective strategies that showcase our area attractions as well as identifying new events to add to our calendar.”

Allyson previously served as Executive Director of the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce, where she achieved remarkable success. A graduate of Indiana University (2000), Allyson holds certificates in leadership & development, grant writing, and chamber management from the ACCE. Moreover, she has earned the ACCE Communications Excellence Award, reflecting her exceptional skills in communication.

Working closely with the CVB board, Allyson will purposefully allocate the Innkeeper’s Tax funds towards increasing tourism. Her vision, combined with the board’s guidance, will contribute to the CVB’s growth and adaptation as it serves the Boone County community.
